Logistics
Your Lower Gunnison River adventure begins at the North Fork and Gunnison River Confluence BLM Put-In. Upon arrival, you'll find all your boats and gear set up and ready to go. We'll provide a comprehensive orientation covering rafting equipment, the camping kitchen, food storage, resource regulations, boating safety, Gunnison River information, and recommended camping areas. Once your boats are loaded and rigged, you're ready to launch your self-guided trip! Float 6 miles to the Orchard Take-Out, or extend your trip for multiple days and finish as far as Whitewater Take-Out (39 miles). There are many options for multi-day trips with take-out options sooner. Contact Gunnison River Pro to discuss the best option for your group. We'll handle the shuttle, ensuring your vehicle is waiting for you at the take-out.
